Roberts suffers fall in practice, but is fine

Mississippi State University's preseason National Player of the Year candidate Lawrence Roberts suffered a fall in practice that caused him to be taken out of Humphrey Coliseum on a stretcher and to the Okitibbeha County Hospital.<P> According to Head basketball coach Rick Stansbury, "X-rays came back negative and he is fine. He will be kept overnight for observations, but he is fine."

Roberts suffered the fall in Wednesday's afternoon practice. After landing hard on his tailbone, his neck was put in a brace to keep it stationay. He was taken out of Humphrey Coliseum on a stretcher and taken to Oktibbeha County Hospital for x-rays and observation.
