So you visited Starkville this weekend?
How did you enjoy it?
"It was real good. I enjoyed it a lot."
What was your favorite part?
"Probably when I was together with everybody - with all the recruits."
Who did you hang out with?
"Basically, Otis Riddley and the other recruits."
You played ball with Otis Riddley, right?
Are you guys big buddies?
I read an interview about him that said he was doing some off-season workouts with a trainer. Is that correct?
"Yes." Do you guys work out with the same trainer?
"Yes, we work out together."
How is that going?
"It's going good. We haven't done any testing or anything but it's going good."
What would you say was your greatest strength as a player?
"To me, it's character. The biggest strength of a player would be how he acts around other folks and how he acts around the players. To me, that means more than physical strength."
That's good. I like that. So you bring character to the game?
"I think so."
What are the coaches saying about your playing time?
"They say I have a choice. I can either play my freshman year or they can redshirt me."
What do you want to do?
"I want to be redshirted. One thing is that I want to get used to the college life and I want to get stronger."
Sounds like a good plan. One more thing, most places have you listed as an MSU commitment, is that still true?
"Yes it is."
OK, thank you for your time.
