Sibley is one of the top two or three defensive linemen in the state of Mississippi this year. And the in-state schools have taken notice. In fact, most have already come in for in-school visits. Even two out-of-state schools has visited him.
"I had Ole Miss come in," said Sibley, who is being recruited as a defensive tackle. "Coach Haley from Mississippi State came in Thursday. Memphis came. (Mississippi) Valley came in. Coach Knox from Auburn has also come in."
So far, he has set up three official visits.
"I've set up visits to Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Southern Miss," said Sibley, who has scholarship offers from MSU and Ole Miss. "I'm going to Southern Miss on December 17th, 18th, and 19th. January 14th and 15th for Mississippi State. And I think the 22nd (of January) to Ole Miss."
Does he have a favorite school or two?
"Ole Miss and Mississippi State," said Sibley. "And Auburn, too. I have a friend over there, Quentin Groves."
What does he like about each school?
"With Ole Miss, I liked their program under Cutcliffe, but he's gone now," Sibley said. "So, I don't know. I'm still debating on that. With Mississippi State, I like their defensive line coach, Coach Haley. I worked with him when I went to one of their (summer football) camps. I liked working with him because he made me feel comfortable. With Auburn, I have Quentin over there. He can show me the ropes and help me out with whatever I need to know."
