MSU commitment Chad Marshall, a 6-2, 240-pound defensive end who played for Mississippi Delta Community College, talked with Gene's Page about his official visit to Mississippi State this past weekend.

Chad Marshall Profile

How was your visit to MSU?
"I definitely enjoyed myself. It was good to talk to all the coaches and see all the facilities and buildings. I also had a chance to talk a lot about academics."

Are you more solid with your commitment now and if so, why?
"Yes, and more confident now. Now I know I made the right decision."

What were your thoughts after meeting the coaches?
"It was a good experience meeting the coaches, especially the defensive coaches. We talked about the gameplan and how they wanted things done on defense and what they expect out of me on defense."

Who was your player host and your thoughts about him?
"I think is name was Avery Hannibal. I do know his nickname was Cade and that's what everybody was calling him."

Did you meet any other recruits?
"I met almost everybody else there. It's a good group of young guys that are all willing to work hard. They want to make something happen at Mississippi State and the Bulldogs have done a great job of recruiting these guys."
