Men's Golf Recruiting Class Ranked 10th in Nation

According to a recent issue of Golfweek magazine, the Mississippi State men's golf recruiting class was ranked 10th in the nation, possibly the highest recruiting ranking in school history.<P> Pictured: Matt Fast

Mississippi State's recruiting class consists of two of the nation's top 50 players, Oak Grove (MS) High School's Matt Fast and Longwood (FL) high schooler Noah Goldman. Both are expected to be immediate contributors their freshman year.

The Mississippi State golf team, led by Joe Deraney, a senior currently ranked 129th in the nation by Golfweek, will open the the 2005 season at the University of Central Florida/Rio Pinar Intercollegiate on Feb. 14-15.
