Final Decision Is In!

Corey Gardhigh has been going back and forth in his mind about where he will play at the next level since returning from a midweek visit to Starkville, MS. Corey has been torn between Mississippi State and Marshall, but it appears now as if he's ready to announce his final decision. Where is Gardhigh going?

"I've got a good feeling of where I'm going. I'm going put it like this; I'm going to stay a Bulldog in college," Corey Gardhigh said.

Why did the West Georgian choose MSU?

"They have great facilities and they're in the SEC. I like that I get to play against Georgia also because they were one of my favorite schools. That's going to be a rivalry for me."

A big advantage for the Bulldogs was the early playing time they have available.

"They said I could come in and start at the X receiver almost right away."

Who hosted him on his visit?

"Keith Fitzhugh hosted me on the visit and we played each other in the Georgia North-South All Star game this year. He showed me around campus and we went to a student center and played basketball. We just chilled out and went to eat everyday."

Corey likes the structure of Sylvester Croom's system.

"Some of the guys told me Coach Croom is really strict on academics and going to class. I like that a lot about him."
