MSU Annual State of State Dinner

Capitol Area alumni and friends of Mississippi State University are invited to the annual State of State dinner, to be held Tuesday, March 8, at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson. Sponsored by the Central Mississippi Chapter of the MSU Alumni Association, social hour for the event begins at 6 p.m. with dinner scheduled for 7 p.m.

The program features MSU President Dr. J. Charles Lee, MSU Athletic Director Larry Templeton, and a special presentation focusing on the future of the University. The evening concludes with a scholarship fundraising auction of unique services and merchandise, including private dinners with coaches, a Gail Pittman MSU tailgating set, and several other fan- and entertainment-related items. Individual tickets are $30 each and may be purchased until March 2 at the following locations:

    In addition to individual tickets, corporate tables are also available for $500. "We can meet whatever level of participation a business supporter is interested in," says Lee Benoist, Chapter Co-Vice President for Corporate Giving, "ranging from the $100 Bulldog Supporter all the way up to the $5000 Maroon Level, which includes a State of State corporate table, two more seats at Dr. Lee's table plus a mega-package of tickets, free tournament slots, and premium advertising placement in all our events."

    Corporate sponsors at all levels receive recognition in all three of the State of State, Summer Extravaganza, and Annual Tennis Tournament programs plus listing on the Chapter web site, with increasing benefits and exposure based on level of support.
