Arkansas Players Headed to MSU/ Combine

Four Arkansas high school players who have tentative plans of attending Sunday's Combine at Mississippi State are showing early interest in Mississippi State.

Jim Hart, a 6-5, 300-pound offensive lineman from Pocahontas High School, has early offers from Mississippi State and Arkansas State. Other schools are showing strong interest as well. His early five favs are Mississippi State, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Notre Dame. MSU assistant coach J.B. Grimes visited Hart's school this week, as did Arkansas State.

Hazen High School linebacker Nathan Campbell (6-3, 215), who also has offers from Mississippi State and Arkansas State, has Mississippi State among his top six. Other schools he is interested in are Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Notre Dame.

Wide receiver Willie Landers, a 6-3, 175-pound wide receiver from El Dorado High School, likes Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Illinois, Tulsa and Mississippi State.

Daniel Stegall, possibly one of the top four quarterbacks in Arkansas, has Mississippi State as a team is he is watching. He grew up in Clinton, Mississippi and his dad attended Mississippi State for three years. Daniel is a very athletic QB who, as a junior, completed 154 passes on 246 attempts (63%) for 2,065 yards and 20 touchdowns against only four interceptions. He also put up big numbers rushing the ball as well with 1,022 yards and 27 touchdowns.
