MSU-Ole Miss Game Suspended Until Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - Friday's game between No. 22 Ole Miss and Mississippi State was suspended with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning due to heavy rain and lighting. The Rebels were leading the first game of this weekend's three-game Southeastern Conference series 11-4 when the game was suspended.

The two teams will complete Friday's game at 2:30 p.m., at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field, before playing Saturday's scheduled 4 p.m., contest. The gates will open at 12:30 p.m., for anyone wishing to attend the completion of Friday's game. Following the suspended game, the stadium will be cleared, and fans will need to have Saturday's ticket for readmittance.
