Andre Stephens Profile:

What schools are showing strong interest in you?
"For the most part, Mississippi State is showing the most interest. They gave me my most recent offer. So, I might go there. If not, I have other options."

What schools have offered you a scholarship?
"Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kansas, Cincinnati, Ohio...."

How many offers do you have?
"I had 40, but they slowed down because I had decided to go to Mississippi State. But frankly, I have decided to wait until my senior year to make that decision now."

Since you backed off of committing to Mississippi State, would you say you are still leaning that way?
"I can't say yes, but I can't say no."

What schools are your top five?
"Mississippi State is one. LSU, Kentucky, Tennessee and probably Georgia."

Do you have them ranked 1 through 5?
"Yeah. I have Mississippi State first, LSU second, Kentucky third, Tennessee fourth and Georgia fifth."

What will be the deciding factor?
"I can't say for sure right now, but I'll know by the end of the year."

What do you like about Mississippi State?
"I like where the campus is and where their program is going."

You shoot free throws pretty good. Are you normally a good free throw shooter?
"Yeah, I practice by shooting something like 100 free throws a day."

What are the strong parts of your game and what do you feel you still need to work on?
"The strongest part of my game is shooting 12 to 15' jump shots. I also have my low post move down pat, but I could do that better. I have my defense down pat. And I play hard. I still need to work on my rebounding."
