Jimmy Miller Profile

What is your height, weight and position?
"I am 6-1, 220 and play linebacker."

What did you do during the first part of the summer?
"Prior to coming here, I followed the workout plan that the strength coach from here sent out to us. I've also worked with a trainer. And did the best I could to get ready for the heat."

Have you seen any improvements during the summer?
"Oh yes, I definitely have a lot more endurance, maybe enough to allow me to last long enough to do that extra rep."

What do you hope to accomplish during the second summer session of workouts?
"I'm trying to improve all around and do the best that I can. It's all mental from my point of view. So, I'm going to try to strengthen myself mentally and get into a groove with these guys. And also get used to the weather and the (workout) schedule."

What are your expectations for the upcoming fall football season?
"My expectations are to go as far as I can based on how hard I work. If I do my part of my deal, then I should have an opportunity to be on the field. And I plan on being on the field."

Has your postion coach told you what he expects from you during the summer and on into the fall?
"Coach (Amos) Jones expects me to work hard and learn quick. The coaches are going to give me an opportunity (to play), but it's in my hands."
