MSU OL Signee Calvin Wilson

Mississippi State freshman offensive lineman signee Calvin Wilson talked about the summer conditioning and his personal hopes for the upcoming fall football season.

What is your height, weight and position?
"6-6, 363 and I play offensive tackle."

What have you tried to accomplish during the first part of the summer?
"I've been working out a lot. I've been running and lifting weights. And trying to learn some of these plays."

Do you feel you have improved in any areas?
"Yeah, I feel like I've improved my quickness and speed."

What do you hope to achieve during this second summer session?
"I want to get my weight down to about 330 and get stronger in the weightroom. And get to know my surroundings."

What weight did you play at during high school?
"I played at 325 to 330."

If you could live your MSU football fantasy this coming football season, what would it be?
"To do my best and succeed in whatever I do. And help the team get more wins."

What has the offensive line coach told you that he expects from you this year?
"He said he wanted me to be in shape and be ready to play...know the plays and compete for a starting job."
