What did you do the first part of the summer in preparation for these workouts?
"I worked out, but this running hurt me earlier this week because I couldn't push myself like they can. Give me a week or two and I'll be ready."

You seem to handle the running well today. Was it easier running today than it was the first day?
"Yeah, I ran well. It didn't really tire me, but I'll still get better."

You were voted the Most Valuable Defensive Player for the All-American Bowl game's West team? How did you wind up on the west team?
"There were too many players on one side, so they had to put the Mississippi and Louisiana players on the west."

What will you bring to this team?
"Athleticism and leadership ability. I think I have a lot of speed and quickness. I also have a lot of knowledge of the game."

Have the coaches told you whether you will play on offense, defense or both?
"They really talked to me about coming in right now and playing corner. And play a lot on kick return and punt return. He also talked about using me a little bit at receiver. But, right now, it will mainly be corner and special teams."

Is there any one position you prefer?
"I prefer playing corner, but I wouldn't mind playing on either side of the ball."
