Markeith Summers Will Attend MSU Camp

Olive Branch (MS) High School wide receiver Markeith Summers, one of the top receivers in the state of Mississippi, will attend Mississippi State's 7 on 7 camp Friday and Saturday. The last time someone from Scout.com talked to Markeith he claimed 10 scholarship offers, including schools such as Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Auburn, Alabama and Maryland. Has he received any new offers?

"It is pretty much the same people," said Markeith.

Markeith, when asked if he has any favorites, said, "no, not really. I have a couple on my mind, but I don't know if they are on top."

Who are those couple?

"Florida, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma - teams like them," said the 6-1.5, 192-pounder.

During the most recent Scout.com interviews, he hasn't really said much about Mississippi State, a school that he and his teammates are attending camp at this Friday and Saturday. Is he still interested in them?

"Yes sir, they are pretty close," he said. "I like Mississippi State."

When asked if he knows much about them, he said, "no, but I really don't know much about any college. I just want to know who has the best (scholarship) offer that will fit me."

With the upcoming camp at MSU, Markeith will have a great opportunity to find out more about Mississippi State and the Mississippi State coaches. Keep it right here to find out if he likes what he sees and hears.
