On the women's side, freshman Tiffany McWilliams ran a 2:08.75 in the 800-meter run, taking second place in the event. McWilliams now ranks third on MSU's all-time 800 meters charts in just her first season for head coach Al Schmidt.

Also for the women, senior CeCe Brown and junior Le'Kisha Barnaby-Pope finished sixth in the 400- and 100-meter hurdles, respectively. The Vaiden, Miss., native once again set the 400m hurdles record for the Lady Bulldogs with her time of 1:01.52. Barnaby-Pope ran a personal-best 14.24 in the 100m hurdles in her sixth-place finish.
