Mississippi State's first practice in shells - shoulder pads, headgear and shorts - produced the team's most spirited workout of the 2005 preseason session, a three-hour drill on the practice fields behind the Shira Athletic Complex Saturday. It was the Bulldogs' first allowable day of contact, and both the defense and the offense took advantage of the opportunity.
