Developed and implemented by the MSU Student Association, Bulldog Bash is an annual event that fosters support for the upcoming football season. Last year's Bulldog Bash drew an estimated 30,000 students, fans, alumni, and community members to the streets of Starkville's Cotton District. This year's Bash kicks off at 5:00 pm on Friday, September 23 in conjunction with the Georgia game on Saturday, September 24.
Starting that afternoon on University Drive, the entire Mississippi State
family will have the opportunity to enjoy various games and activities, including inflatable games, pictures with Bully, and face painting. Some of the area's best restaurants will offer samples of their signature dishes. The climax of the afternoon will be the 2005 season's inaugural pep rally, which will spark excitement and anticipation as the Bulldogs prepare for the rugged road to the SEC Western Division title. Directly following the pep rally, three stages set up around the Cotton District will come alive with the sounds of nine unique bands. The event will conclude at 1:00 am.
Bulldog Bash gives students, alumni, community members, and all MSU fans an opportunity to enjoy an evening full of Bulldog Spirit, as well as free live music, during what has become the largest free outdoor event in the state of Mississippi!
Remember: Bulldog Bash on Friday, September 23, 2005; if you're a Bulldog fan, it will be one event you're not going to want to miss!
