Mississippi State University will be represented at the United States Amateur Golf Championships this week, Aug. 22-28, in Ardmore, Pa., by MSU head men's golf coach Clay Homan. He will compete in the six-day event at Merion Golf Club. Homan reached the Amateur Championship by qualifying with rounds of 69 and 70 at Ol' Colony Golf Club in Tuscaloosa, Ala. this past July.
