The last time I talked to Wicker, which was about a month ago, he had over 20 scholarship offers, but one school had jumped to the top of his list: Mississippi State.
Has anything changed since that conversation?
"Everything is the same as before," said the 6-3, 220-pounder. "Mississippi State is still number one. I also like Louisville, South Carolina and Kentucky."
When asked why Mississippi State is his clear leader, Wicker said, "I really like (MSU head) Coach (Sylvester) Croom and the rest of the coaching staff."
He's also looking forward to learning more about MSU in the coming months.
"I really want to see more when I go on my visit," said Wicker, who was chosen his team's player of the game after last week's 2-0 loss to Douglass High School. "I'm going to take my (official) visit after the season's over with, but I am going to a few of their games, too."
