Mississippi State's game at Florida on October 8 will be televised regionally on Jefferson-Pilot Sports. Kickoff will be shortly after 12:30 p.m. in Gainesville, or 11:30 a.m. Starkville time.
This will be the second appearance of the 2005 season for Coach Sylvester Croom's Bulldogs on J-P Sports, and the second road SEC contest to be aired on the network. State's September 10 game at Auburn was also shown by J-P.
State was 1-2 on the regional network in 2004, losing to Auburn and LSU but defeating Florida. Since 1992 when J-P began airing SEC football, State is 17-17 in such appearances.
The Bulldogs' home game this weekend with Louisiana State will not be aired by one of the SEC's broadcast partners. But it will be available live to subscribers to Tigervision, and on tape-delay on Cox Cable.
