When asked what schools are calling him weekly, Victor said, "Florida, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Memphis, Mississippi State....everybody."
Several of those that are calling have also extended scholarship offers.
"Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Louisville, Southern Miss, LSU and Arkansas have offered," said the highly thought of 6-4, 250-pound defensive end.
He has visited one of those schools unofficially and expects to visit others throughout the season.
"I went to the Memphis/Ole Miss game," he said. "I'm going to try to go to some more games, but I don't know which games right now."
As for official visits, college coaches have started talking about them, but haven't finalized plans.
"They are talking about setting up the visits after the end of my season," said Victor, one of several highly prized prospects on the Olive Branch team. "I really don't know who I will visit."
However, when asked if Mississippi State would receive an official visit, Victor quickly responded, "Yes."
He explained the reasons for his interest in State.
"I like their defense and they are losing a few seniors on their defensive line," said Victor. "(MSU starting defensive end) Willie Evans will be leaving."
We'll have another recruiting update on Victor in the very near future.
