Bulldog Cross Country

The Mississippi State University cross country teams travel to the 2005 Southeastern Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29. The men's 8K race begins at 9:30 a.m. ET, followed by the women's 6K at 10:30 a.m. ET. Both events are being held at Hilton Field at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Mississippi State's men's golf team will wrap up the fall season with the Tunica National Intercollegiate on Oct. 31-Nov. 1. The 54-hole event was to be played in Baton Rouge, La. at The University Club, but due to lack of hotel space in that area from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the tournament was shifted to Tunica, Miss.
