Co-Lin offensive lineman J.D. Hamilton is receiving serious interest from four colleges.
"Ole Miss, Mississippi State, West Virginia and Louisiana Tech are calling me consistently," said the preseason J.C. Grid-Wire Honorable Mention All-American.
Three of the four have offered scholarships.
"Louisiana Tech, West Virginia and Mississippi State have offered scholarships," said the 6-4, 300-pounder.
Has he set up any official visits?
"Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech and West Virginia have set up visits," said J.D. "I am visiting Ole Miss on the 9th of December, the 16th of December with Louisiana Tech and I'm visiting Mississippi State on January 20th. I also have one with West Virginia, but I can't remember the date."
Of the four schools, two, according to J.D., have leaped to the top of his list.
"West Virginia and Mississippi State are my favorites," he said. "They are about even right now."
He explained why those two lead the others.
"Both of them have good academics, and they have good coaches," said J.D.
