The last time I talked to Tony he had three schools that he was considering, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State. That list has now been cut to two.
Who are they?
"It's now down to Mississippi State and Oklahoma State," said Tony, a U.S. Army All-American Bowl Game participant during his senior season in high school.
Does either have a lead?
"Neither one has a lead over the other," he said.
He explained what he likes about each school.
"I like the coaches (at Mississippi State)," said Tony. "They have a good relationship with me and my mom. I also like the academic counselor. She sounds like she will help me out a lot."
As for Oklahoma State, he said, "I like the facilities up there. Everything is nice up there. I get along with the coaches real good, too. The players say it's nice there."
With the early signing period just over a week away, a decision will have to be made very soon.
"I will make a decision sometime after the exams are over," Tony said. "I'm going to sit down sometime and see which one is best for me." [Editor's Note: His exams will conclude this Friday.]
