Co-Lin CC OT J.D. Hamilton Recruiting Update

Co-Lin All-American offensive tackle J.D. Hamilton talks about his favorites and what schools he will visit.

J.D. Hamilton Profile:

Co-Lin offensive lineman J. D. Hamilton, a 3rd team 2005 JC Grid-Wire All-American selection, has set up all five of his official visits, including two that he is taking in December.

"I visited TCU on December 2nd. I will visit Louisiana Tech this weekend (December 16th), West Virginia on January 13th, Mississippi State on the 20th (of January) and I have USM on the 27th (of January)," said J.D., who has offers from all five. "I backed off of my visit to Ole Miss (on the 9th of December)."

Most of those teams have had in-school visits with him recently.

"TCU, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State and West Virginia have all come into my school," said J.D. "They all have come in the last two weeks."

As for his top schools, three lead the pack.

"I am going to say right now (my leaders) would have to be TCU, Mississippi State and West Virginia," said J.D., "They are kind of like all even right now."

He explained why those lead the other two.

"I like the same thing about all of them, education-wise and playing ball," he said. "I have a chance to come in and start at all of them."

I've heard a rumor that West Virginia may lead for his services. Any truth to it?

"No sir, everybody is even," said J.D. "Somebody else told me that they read that on the internet, too."
