First things first, are you still committed to Mississippi State?
"Yes sir, I am," said LaBrandon.
Although he is committed to State, he does have plans on visiting other schools.
"I am visiting USF and Illinois," said LaBrandon. "I have to reschedule Illinois because I was supposed to go up there this weekend (December 16-18), but they had a snowstorm. I have to get back with them. I am visiting South Florida on the 13th of January and I make a visit up to Mississippi State on the 20th (of January)."
LaBrandon explained why he is visiting other schools despite being committed to MSU.
"I'm very committed to Mississippi State, but it's just that I'm looking at other schools to see what else is out there," he said.
And part of it may be the loyalty factor since at least one of the schools has been recruiting him for a long time.
"South Florida has been on me about the same length of time as Mississippi State has," he said.
LaBrandon, despite an injured knee that kept him out of a few games this past season, still managed to record 80 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions and 3 sacks in 7 games.
We'll check back with LaBrandon in early January to find out the latest.
