Marcus Washington talked about his recent in-home visit with Mississippi State assistant coach Brick Haley, the coach recruiting him for MSU, and head coach Sylvester Croom.
"They stayed about two hours," said Marcus. "(The visit) helped my parents because they hadn't met Coach Haley before. They were very impressed with the way Coach Croom talked, the plans for the years coming up."
According to Marcus, a couple of other school have also visited with he and his parents.
"The Air Force Academy and New Mexico (have come in for in-home visits)," said Marcus who has scholarship offers from both schools.
And it appears both will receive official visits from Marcus.
"I have a couple of other visits set up," said Marcus, who officially visited MSU in early September. "I will visit the Air Force Academy and New Mexico in mid-January."
He explained the reason for the visits.
"I just want to see how other programs are run compared to Mississippi State," he said.
When asked if he is still committed to MSU, he said "yes, I'm still committed."
When asked if he considered it a soft verbal since he plans on officially visiting other schools, he said, "no, it's not a soft verbal, I'm still committed."
Look for additional updates on Marcus Washington in the very near future.
