Riding a four-game winning streak, the Mississippi State Bulldogs (7-2) close out their pre-Christmas slate of hoops activity by competing in the 18th annual San Juan Shootout, Dec. 19-21, in Puerto Rico. Set to play three games in three days at the Mario Morales Coliseum in Guaynabo, State opens tournament action by taking on the Flames of Liberty University (2-5) in first-round play on Monday. Tip-off for the first-ever MSU-Liberty meeting is set for 5 p.m. AT (3 p.m. CT).

After earning their first road victory on Thursday over New Orleans (79-59), the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs (3-6) return home to host the 17th MSU Classic Dec. 19-20 at Humphrey Coliseum. MSU faces Morehead State (5-2) on Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. while 20th-ranked Purdue meets Centenary in the early game at 4:30 p.m. The consolation and championship games will be played at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
