Late Monday afternoon highly coveted junior college offensive lineman J.D. Hamilton of Copiah-Lincoln Community College made his commitment known.
"I'm going to sign with Mississippi State," said J.D. "I talked to my parents and made the decision."
He explained the reasons why he chose Mississippi State.
"I feel they are a program on the rise and they will come up this year. They are close enough so that my parents can come watch my home games," said the Natchez, Mississippi native. "The coaches are real nice and I feel they are going to look out for me when I need it. I feel the coaches will push me hard and help me to get to the next level. The players are real straight and one of the guys (Anthony Strauder) I played high school ball with is up there now."
