After making 36 catches for 490 yards and 6 touchdowns as a freshman, the 6-2, 200-pounder let it be known he's a force to be reckon with on the Mississippi junior college scene for the 2006 season.
And it looks like he will carry his immense talent to the SEC once he graduates from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College next December. Co-Eric, who his head coach, Steve Campbell, feels has the ability to play in the NFL once he is finished with his college career, told me that he likes five schools - "Mississippi State, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Auburn." He said two of those five are his top schools at this time. And who are the lucky two? According to Co-Eric, in an interview that I did with him yesterday, said "Mississippi State and Ole Miss" are his favorites.
Look for future updates on this very talented youngster as his recruitment heats up.
