"Schools showing interest me are Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and South Carolina," said the 6-2, 240-pounder. "Ole Miss and Mississippi State have offered scholarships."
As for favorites, it appears no one has the lead at the moment.
"I don't have any favorites. I pretty much like every school," he said. "I put them all together as the same."
While he has no favorites, he has checked out a couple of the schools that are interested in him.
"Really, I like both Mississippi State's and Ole Miss' facilities," said Antonio. "I went over Saturday to visit Mississippi State. I liked their facilities a lot. They really caught my eye."
Are there any other things he liked about Mississippi State?
"(MSU head) Coach (Sylvester) Croom. Coach Croom," he said. "I liked the way he approached me. He let me and the other juniors there know a little about the school and about graduation. He laid the facts down on how it will be if we come to school there. If we don't want to get our work in, then we don't need to come to Mississippi State. He just let us know the truth."
What did he think about their team after watching them scrimmage?
"Their team is young, but they are going to produce in the future," said the MAC 2A All-State linebacker. "I watched their defense. The defense they run is good for a linebacker to make plays. I really think this year their defense is going to be great because they have (signees) named Tim Bailey and Jamon Hughes that will step up. I stay in touch with Jamon a lot. He wants me to come play for the Bulldogs. That is what he wants me to do."
Will Jamon get his wish? Keep it on Scout.com to find out.
