"I liked it a lot. The facilities were the nicest that I have seen," said Caleb, who has been to Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn and Vanderbilt this spring. "I talked to a lot of the coaches. (Assistant) Coach (J.B.) Grimes, the offensive line coach, was real upbeat. I also like how they run their practice. It was real upbeat."

What was it about the facilities that impressed him so much?

"It surprised me how nice everything was - the Palmeiro Center, the weight room, the locker room," noted Caleb. "I've never seen a weight room like that. And their locker room was big."

While on his visit, he was able to take in a Bulldog scrimmage. What was his impression of the team?

"They looked like they are going to be a top contender in the SEC," he said.

As for favorites, he has six on his early list.

"I like Alabama, Auburn because of how close they are to my home," said Caleb. "I like LSU. I like Mississippi State also. I also like Tennessee and Vandy."

Caleb did admit that he is a fan of one school and that he has family connections to another.

"My dad (Tim Thomas) played basketball at Ole Miss," he noted. "But I grew up an Auburn fan."

When asked how he wanted to rate the schoole he is interested in, he said, "everybody is medium."

As for what he is looking for in a school, he listed two factors.

"The number one thing I'm looking for is how close it is to home," said Caleb. "And the degree I want. I haven't thought about what I'm going to major in."

Check back in about a month for a new update on this very talented offensive lineman.
