Have you enjoyed the recruiting process so far?
"Yes sir. It seemed like one day, boom, everything just started happening."
When did you realize that you were a very talented football player?
"At first, when I was in the 9th grade, I didn't even play football. I played basketball. I was about 6-3 in the 9th grade. I played (football) until the 6th grade. They didn't have football in the middle school. That was when I kind of started playing basketball. By the time I got to the 10th grade, I got hooked on (Hamilton High school head football) coach Jeff Sawyer. Then, in the 11th grade, boom."
What schools called you during the May evaluation period?
"Oklahoma State, LSU, South Carolina, the University of Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas and Auburn."
What camps have you gone to besides Mississippi State and also what other camps are you going to during the summer?
"I went to Ole Miss (senior camp) about a week after the Mississippi State camp. I just came back last week from the Tennessee camp. Next week, I will be going to an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) camp in Oklahoma. After that, I am going to a pro camp up in Philadelphia."
Have you received any scholarship offers from colleges?
"No sir, I think one of the main reasons that I haven't received any offers is because I haven't gotten my score back yet. I am positive that it will be a 17 or 18."
What schools are you most interested in at this time?
"There is no one in particular. I like some in the SEC, ACC, Big-10, and Big East. There are a bunch of schools. But, basically, if you really want to know, the SEC is where I would like to play. That is where the top competition is. That is where I feel I would fit in."
Has it surprised you that so many big-time schools are recruiting you?
"Yes sir. I never thought in a million years that folks in the SEC would be calling me talking about wanting me to come to their schools."
I appreciate your time, Jeremy. Thank you. Bye, bye.
"Alright, bye, bye."
