Co-Eric has picked up three new scholarship offers since we last talked.

"I have offers from (Mississippi) State, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina and Florida," said Co-Eric, who caught 36 passes for 490 yards and 6 touchdowns as a freshman at MGCCC. "That's the only ones now."

Any of those showing more interest than the others?

"Really, all of them are showing a lot of interest in me," noted the 2005 MACJC first-team All-Stater.

What schools is he most interested in?

"I like State, Ole Miss, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, Southern Miss and Tennessee," said the 6-2, 200-pound speedster.

When asked if he has them in any kind of order, he said, "one through seven, I would put it (Mississippi) State, South Carolina, LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Southern Miss and then Tennessee."

He explained what he likes about each school.

"Mississippi State is really close to home and (Head) Coach (Sylvester) Croom has a lot of pull in getting me to the NFL. LSU, by the time I get there all their receivers will be gone by the time I step in. South Carolina, I want to play for Steve Spurrier because I know he wants to throw the ball. Florida will throw the ball and they have a lot of talent down there. I think I fit in pretty good with Florida. Ole Miss, I have a couple of friends who go to Ole Miss. I know a couple of players who went to Ole Miss. At Southern Miss, I have my cousin and my other friend who go down there. Tennessee has been on me since high school."

Does he plan on committing early or will he take all of his official visits before he makes a decision?

"I'm not going to commit early," said Co-Eric. "I'm going to take my (official) visits."

We'll check back with Co-Eric in a few weeks to find out the latest recruiting news.
