The Dugout Club's primary mission is to provide financial backing for special projects that support the Mississippi State University baseball program.

The Dugout Club, which has annual membership dues of $50, has been responsible for many projects over the past few years such as the following:

  • Green padding on stadium wall
  • New batting cage in Grisham Tunnel
  • New pulley system in Grisham Tunnel
  • Two dirt mounds in Grisham Tunnel
  • Rebuilt pitching mound
  • Rebuilt bullpen mounds
  • Windscreen on bullpen fences
  • New helmet and bat racks in dugouts
  • New netting for on-field batting cage
  • Batting practice turf protectors
  • Batting practice hitting mats
  • Batting practice fungo circles
  • New tarps for homeplate, mound
  • New carpet in locker room/players lounge
  • Tile flooring in equipment room
  • Satellite TV system for team areas
  • Framed schedule posters in sky suites
  • Framed Alumni Game photographs
  • Retired uniform signs for outfield fence
  • Repainted centerfield wall
  • Flooring in tunnels
  • Flooring in dugouts
  • Pool table in locker room
  • Ping pong table in locker room
  • SEC logo signs for outfield fence
  • Air conditioning in Grisham Tunnel
  • New lockers in locker room (to be installed this summer)

    Mississippi State head baseball coach Ron Polk has many new projects that he would like to see completed. To do these projects, the MSU coaching staff has set a goal of 1,000 Dugout Club members for this coming year.
