Read what Robert told Gene's Page about his spring goals and what he is trying to achieve during the summer workouts.

Robert, what were your goals during the spring practices?
"This spring I was trying to learn everything. I wanted to learn the entire game. I was trying to make myself stronger and faster. I think I accomplished those goals. I gained the weight I needed. I am about 6-2.5 and weigh 250 (as a true freshman, he was 6-1, 240). I worked to gain the weight and retain my speed."

Do you know where you wound up in the depth chart at the end of spring practice?
"I wound up on the first string at the end of the spring. A lot of the books said I wasn't first string because I only played in one scrimmage but I practiced in all of them. Coach Dunn told me not to scrimmage in the last two."

What are you trying to achieve in the summer workouts?
"We basically are working on our speed, agility and strength. We are trying to get in shape, get our weight down and increase our speed. And the people who were hurt are rehabbing."

Has it surprised you the number of players that were here for the first summer session?
"Most of the people who are here now are the same people that have been here for the last year or two."

Do you have any goals for the upcoming season?
"I just want to help the team. I want to break all the records there are to break at my position and I plan on doing that. I want to help put our team on the map."
