Sean is one of the more highly recruited among the seven with offers from schools throughout the nation.
"I have eight offers," said Sean, a quarterback/safety prospect. "I have offers from Purdue, Northern Illinois, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Central Michigan, New Mexico, Minnesota and Iowa State."
As of now, the 6-2.5, 190-pounder is still considering all his options as far as favorite schools are concerned.
"I am pretty open right now. I haven't really been doing a lot of narrowing," he reported. "I've been looking at each school, but not too much. I'm trying to focus on the season."
But he and a few of his teammates will take some time off this summer to visit several of the schools that are showing interest in them. Sean's already taken unofficial visits to Purdue, Northern Illinois, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State this spring with plans to attend one-day camps at Michigan, Ohio State, Iowa and Mississippi State this summer.
Sean gave his thoughts about Mississippi State, the one school from the south that has extended an offer.
"I don't know too much about Mississippi State," he said. "I'm really looking forward to taking a visit. Me, my coach and a couple of the other guys are planning on going down there sometime this summer. We are going to their one day (Senior Day) camp."
Mississippi State is one of only two schools - the other is Northern Illinois - that is recruiting Sean as a quarterback, the position he prefers playing on the next level. This past season he passed for 700 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for 450 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Will Sean be impressed with what he sees at Mississippi State enough to put them on his short list of favorites when he begins the process of narrowing his list? Keep it right here to find out.
