ScoutTV: MSU Baseball Signee Brent Tanner

Mississippi State baseball signee Brent Tanner, a catcher who played for George County (MS) High School, is playing on the Mississippi Stars Senior team this summer. I video taped him during a Sunday afternoon doubleheader against the Memphis Tigers, a traveling summer league team consisting of top high school players from Memphis and the surrounding area.

Brent Tanner Profile Page:

Brent Tanner was a spring signee for the Bulldog baseball staff. During this video Brent hit three doubles, one that hit the base of the center field wall, one that bounce over the left field wall and one that was a screaming line drive that went to the right field wall. He also hit another ball the first baseman made a diving stop of to rob Brent of a single. On the day, he was 3-for-5 officially, but he also walked once, was hit by a pitch and got on via an error. I've included his three doubles, the play by the first baseman and a few defensive plays as well on this ScoutTV presentation.
