Mississippi State baseball signee Ryan Powers, an infielder who played for Beacon High School in Beacon, New York, shows his hitting ability in this game, hitting a double and a 7th inning grand slam that won the game. Also, in this video is his coach presenting him his team's Most Valuable Player award.

Ryan Powers is one of the top shortstops in the nation, according to ProspectsPlus, a publication by Baseball America and Perferct Game, USA. In this video Ryan hits a line drive to right field his first at bat, then hits a double and finally a 7th inning grand slam home run to win the game. During the course of the season, Ryan, an excellent clutch hitter, knocked in 54 runs in 26 games, including hitting .600 with runners in scoring position.
