MSU football right around the corner...sort of...
Up this week (Thursday and Friday) is the final MSU football camp. While the first camp in June was very successful and had many of the top players in Mississippi and a few from the Southeast in attendance, the upcoming camp will have even more.
Following the football camp, SEC Football Media Days begin the next week. Up Tuesday (July 30) are Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina, followed by Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt on Wednesday (July 31) and Alabama, Kentucky, MSU, Tennessee on Thursday (Aug. 1).
The Friday (Aug. 2) after media days the football newcomers officially report. On Saturday (Aug. 3), two-a-days for the freshmen begin. On Tuesday (Aug. 6), the varsity officially report. MSU, on Wednesday (Aug. 7), has its local media day. Then on Thursday (Aug. 8), the entire team begins two-a-days.
On August 24 (Saturday) MSU has its Fan Day. All Bulldog fans are invited. No time has been determined yet. On August 31, MSU and Oregon begin the football season in Eugene, Oregon.
