"Yeah, since last fall I have gained 20 pounds."
It sounds like you are wanting to play this fall.
"Yeah, I'm ready to play."
Talk about what objectives you had going into the spring?
"During the spring, as a team, we wanted to get better everyday. We also wanted to work on the problems that we had during the season and correct them."
What about individual things that you were working on during the spring?
"I was working on my technique, working on staying low, working on all the problems that I had with my form. My goal is to contribute to the team."
Do you feel your technique got better during the spring?
"Yeah. During the spring, I gained more confidence."
What things did you try to do during the summer?
"During the summer, I'm just trying to get ready for two-a-days and get ready for the upcoming season. At first, we didn't do a lot of hard running. We were mainly working on our foot quickness."
What are your hopes for this team this season?
"I hope that we come out strong for the first game. I want us to take each game one at a time."
What goals do you have individually?
"Basically, I just want to help the team, contribute to the team."
