"I got there around 7 o'clock Friday evening," said Co-Eric. "My host was (former MGCCC teammate) Tony Burks. It went real good. It was a good school. Everybody was nice. The coaches were nice. So, that's where I'm going."
Some fans have wondered if the loss to Auburn might affect the commitment made by players such as Co-Eric to Mississippi State. Not to worry said Co-Eric.
"It didn't bother me. It was just one of those games. I think everything will be alright. I know what they can do," he said.
"I made my final decision. When I get ready to sign, that's who I'm going to sign with, State."
And folks are learning more about what this highly-thought of Scout.com four-star recruit can do as well in the high octane offense of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, which is currently ranked 4th nationally with 435.0 yards per game. Through the first two games of this season, Co-Eric has recorded 2 touchdowns and 166 yards on 12 receptions in helping lead MGCCC to a 2-0 record and 3rd place in the NJCAA football poll. Both his yards per game (83.0) and receptions per game (6.0) lead the MACJC. His 6 catches per game ranks him 8th nationally.
