Marcus Green continues to put up incredible numbers. Green scored five touchdowns in a 33-28 win to ruin homecoming at Clarkdale. Marcus had 230 yards rushing on 13 carries. Green's 67 yard kickoff return for a touchdown proved to be the difference in the game. Kemper County is now 3-5 on the season.
Lee Chambers had touchdown runs of 64 and 76 yards as Coffeeville (4-3) got back on track with a 28-21 win over Drew.
Karlin Brown and Lincoln High School shut down Mosley and star running back Enrique Davis in 28-0 win. Lincoln is 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the district. Karlin and the rest of the Trojans can win the district title out right with a win next week.
Eric Richards and Warren Central (3-5) knocked off Murrah 36-3 Thursday night. Eric was 4 of 4 on point after attempts. All of Eric's kickoff attempts resulted in touchbacks. To see highlights of Eric's performance
Chris Relf and G.W. Carver lost a nail biter 10-7 to Stanhope Elmore. Carver is now 2-4 on the season. Relf sat out the first half and most of the third quarter as he recovers from a collarbone injury. Relf had been held out of practice as a precationary measure. With the game on the line Chris chose to play.
Antwon Dixon and Terry (7-1) saw their impressive winning streak snapped at seven games. Lawrence County ran over Terry 40-14
Mike Hunt and Franklin County (7-1) continue to be one of the most dominant teams in south Mississippi. FCHS knocked off Columbia 28-0.
Derek Sherrod and Caledonia fall to 3-5 with a 38-12 loss to Houston.
Colton Jenkins and Winona (3-5) were unable to get back on the winning track this week. The Tigers were defeated 32-24 by Cleveland Eastside.
Quentin Saulsberry saw Senatobia double up on Independence 28-14. Independence is now 3-5 on the season.
Dakota Merritt and West Florida Tech (0-7) take another one on the chin. Pensacola wins in a shutout 48-0.
D.J. Looney and Oak Mountain lose to Spain Park in a tightly contested affair 31-27. Oak Mountain is now 3-4 on the campaign.
Addison Lawrence and 7-0 Magnolia Heights are open this week.
Ethan Stockett and Southside (4-3) picked up an impressive win over Springdale 42-7.
Jamariey Atterberry and Koscuisko (6-2) continue to play well. This week the Whippets took care of district rival Noxubee County 36-28.
Maurice Crutison watched from the sidelines as Brookhaven routed Port Gibson 58-6. Crutison will return to action next week in hopes of helping 0-7 Port Gibson put one in the win column.
Korentheus Bailey and East Hall (2-4) came up on the short end of a 22-14 decision with Chestatee.
