RUSTON, La. - Due to the heavy rain moving through the Southeast on Monday, the first and second rounds of the 2006 Squire Creek Intercollegiate have been rained out.
Tournament and course officials are hoping to play at least 18 holes of competition on Tuesday. The field will try to get underway around mid-morning on Tuesday, depending on when the course will be ready for play after the rain on Monday.
This is the first shortened tournament for the Bulldogs since the weather-shortened 2003 Jim Colbert Intercollegiate in Manhattan, Kan.
