ScoutTV Video: Jessie Bowman Season 2006

Copiah-Lincoln Community College defensive tackle Jessie Bowman, one of the top junior college defensive linemen in the state of Mississippi and possibly nation, is highlighted in this ScoutTV video presentation. He also talks about how his recruitment is going.

Jessie Bowman Profile Page:

According to Jessie, three schools are calling him.

"Mississippi State and Ole Miss are calling me. And I got a call from Memphis last week," said Jessie, who has offers from both MSU and Ole Miss.

As for where they rank in his recruitment, none lead the others.

"I really can't rank them," said Jessie, who signed with Mississippi State out of high school.

He hasn't set up any official visits as of now.

"I haven't set up any visits. They really haven't talked about that, yet." said Jessie, down to 300 pounds from a high of 350 during the spring of 2006.

Jessie is one of three defensive linemen who have separated themselves from the rest of the Mississippi junior college linemen. The other two are Mississippi Delta Community College's Jonathan Williams (a MSU commitment) and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College's Dion Gales (an Ole Miss commitment). My opinion is based on watching them in season 2006 games either in person or on tape. I've seen Bowman in three games, Williams in two and Gales in one.

In this ScoutTV video production, Jessie shows his exceptional foot quickness, straight ahead speed, great used of his hands and outstanding tackling ability against Hinds Community College, Pearl River Community College and East Mississippi Community College during the 2006 season.
