"The visit went lovely," said Dominic.
He pointed out several highlights.
"The food was a highlight. We ate steak and shrimp. It's going to be easy for me to gain weight. I think I gained about 5 pounds (laugh)," said Dominic. "And looking at the weight facilities they have, I was very pleased with that. I really liked their coaches. They treat their players well up there. I like the way (MSU head) Coach (Sylvester) Croom approaches the game. He gets you real prepared for it. I just liked the whole atmosphere up there."
Including the game itself.
"I think they played a real good game. They were a play or two away," said Dominic. "(Arkansas running back) McFadden had under a 100 yards rushes. I saw a lot of things that I liked. And their whole offense comes back next year. With the players they have coming in, plus me, I think they will have a big advantage."
He was also impressed with the emphasis that MSU puts on academics.
"I talked to some academic advisors. And they seemed like they were very interested in my schooling," said Dominic. "Like (MSU assistant) Coach (Melvin) Smith said, a degree comes before football any day."
Although Dominic has been looking at other schools since he committed to MSU, his visit pretty much sealed the deal for him.
"This solidified my commitment to them," said Dominic. "They really cover every aspect for their football players. I think I will be productive and, hopefully, go to the League."
