"I'm still committed to Ole Miss, but Florida State, Mississippi State and Memphis are not far behind," noted Robert. "They are not far at all behind Ole Miss, not at all."
And his recruiting doesn't have far to go either.
"I've taken three visits (to Ole Miss, Memphis and Florida State). They have all been enjoyable," said Robert. "I'm visiting Mississippi State this weekend. I'm excited about the visit and can't wait to get down there."
There has been talk that he will also visit Alabama, but that doesn't appear likely now.
"Alabama came into my school two weeks ago and told me they were going to try to get me down for a visit on February 2nd," said Robert, "but me and my coach talked about it and I don't think I can make it because me and him have to go do something (that weekend)."
As for when he will make his final choice, Robert plans on making it on signing day.
"I've going to make my decision on February 7th, signing day," he said. "I haven't really sat down and wrote anything down (about the visits). Me and my mom have just been going and seeing all the things they have to offer at the schools. I really haven't been looking for anything in a school. I've just been going and visiting and seeing how it is, how the players are. Really, I've just been looking at how the players act, the atmosphere and the coaching staff."
Will Ole Miss remain on top when signing day is here, or will one of the other three schools pull a major coup? Keep it on Scout.com to find out.
