"My host was Jesse Bowman," said Jasper, a former teammate of Jesse's at Co-Lin CC. "Something that impressed me was that he told me that all the coaches were the same way as they were when they recruited him. And I saw that, too."
As for the visit itself, that was just as impressive.
"The whole weekend was fun. I liked everything about it," said Jasper. "Their facilities was the thing that impressed me the most. I knew they were big, but I didn't know they were like that."
The players also made a big impression.
"The players are all down to earth up there, especially Derek Pegues," said Jasper. "Even with all the hype he is still a pretty cool guy."
The visit confirmed to Jasper that he made the right decision.
"My commitment is real strong, real strong. The visit sealed the deal," said Jasper, who also had scholarship offers from schools such as West Virginia, Louisville, Iowa State, Southern Miss and Memphis to name a few. "I'm not visiting anywhere else. I told everybody that would be determined by how this weekend went. And the way I feel right now, I won't be visiting anywhere else."
