"J. C. Brignone was my host this weekend," said Ethan. "He was awesome. I had a great time with him. I hung out with him, Blake (McAdams), the punter, Mark (Melichar) and Aaron (Feld). I also got to meet (Keith) Fitzhugh and (Derek) Pegues.

"I thought all the players were awesome. I liked going out with the guys at night. It was a lot of fun."

Although he had previously visited MSU three times prior to his official visit, this was the first time to view the academic side.

"This time, I got to go into some of their classrooms and meet some of the professors," said Ethan.

He also has a better understanding where he fits in the overall team plan for this coming season.

"They told me if I come in in good shape and learn all the plays, then I have a chance to start as a true freshman," said Ethan. And he plans on doing just that. "And I plan on being in the best shape of my life because I want to start as a true freshman."

While he was solid with his commitment going into the visit, he feels even better about it now.

"My commitment has been rock solid all the way and this solidified it even more," noted Ethan.
