MSU Baseball Signee Scoreboard Update

The Diamond Dawgs got their season underway last night. Most of the Mississippi State Baseball signees have already started play as well.

1st team All-American Forrest Moore and Parkview Baptist's quest for a sixth straight 3A State Title is off to a slow start. The Eagles are currently 1-2 on the season after splitting a double header with Pascagoula.

2nd Team All-American and Dandy Dozen selection Michael Busby and Porter's Chapel are off to a dominant start. Through two games Porter's Chapel is out scoring the competition 23-1.

Through three games West Lauderdale has been equally as dominant. The 3-0 Knights, led by 1st team All-American Cody Freeman and fellow Dandy Dozen selection Paxton Pace, have pounded their competition 37-3.

Brent Brownlee and Oxford are off to an impressive 4-0 start to their season.

Ryan Collins and Rutherford High School evened their season record at 1-1 after a 4-1 win over Leon.

Bobby Triglia and The Bolles School (5-4) got back on track with an 11-0 shelling of Bartram Trail this week.

Tyler Moore and Lee Swindle (2-0) are two of the main reasons Meridian Community College got off to a 9-1 start. MCC dropped both games of a double header on Friday to Pensacola Junior College to fall to 9-3.

Carmel High School and Shawn Marquardt do not begin play until March 31st.
